Hi, I’m Stacy. I am a wife and mother who likes to read and write; cook and eat; drink coffee and wear high heels;shop at the thrift store and decorate my house —sometimes all in the same day. After a short-lived college basketball career (one-too-many knee injuries) I followed a calling to full-time ministry. Over the next 10 years I would earn a Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degree. While pursuing my education I ministered to children, youth, and families at churches in Alabama, Louisiana, and Tennessee. When my third child was born I knew it was time to follow a calling as a full-time mom. In these last eleven years I’ve discovered a love for homemaking and homeschooling. I’ve also discovered that I am still fulfilling my calling to minister through every day opportunities as a wife, mother, neighbor, friend and church member.

I’ve loved God and His Word for as long as I can remember. While I am a rule follower by nature, I’ve learned that obedience is better. This is a record of my journey toward wholeheartedly loving and obeying God.
